1) Employee donations matched by Societe Generale Group in Japan
For further assistance to those in need in the Tohoku area, Societe Generale Bank and Societe Generale Securities have matched the total sum of donation from its employees by doubling the collected amount for the Japanese Red Cross Society benefit for a total of JPY15,349,602 as of 30th April.
2) Relief goods donation
Societe Generale Bank and Societe Generale Securities have run a relief goods campaign among employees. The collected goods have been sent to the areas affected from the disaster though Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Federation of Economic Organizations.
3) Societe Generale Group Supporting: Charity Relief Concert for the Tohoku Region with the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra
A concert held on April 21st in Tokyo's Suntory Hall was organized in support of the people of the Tohoku region affected by the earthquake and the tsunami. The Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the main professional orchestra in Tohoku, was joined by several Japanese representative classical soloists as well as members of several Tokyo-based philharmonic orchestras.
The revenue raised from the concert was divided equally between the Japanese Red Cross Society and the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra.

4) Book donation drive for Iwate children
Societe Generale Bank and Societe Generale Securities joined the “Park Library” event organized by Tokyo Midtown on 23rd, 24th April and during the Golden week to collect books for children in Iwate.
